10. Reze — Chainsaw Man

Starting our Top 10 is Reze from Chainsaw Man.

Makima might be one of the most recognizable women from the series, but Reze has plenty of fans of her own - and Kitsu X users have clearly been giving her some love.

We're not getting involved in the Reze vs. Makima debate, though.

Momo Ayase wasted absolutely no time.

Dandadan exploded in popularity, Momo became a fan favorite, and the internet did what the internet always does.

8. Emilia — Re:Zero

Speaking of silver-haired anime girls...

Of course Emilia is here.

She's been one of the faces of Re:Zero for years, and that silver hair, purple eyes and unmistakable outfit make her pretty hard to miss.

We're sure the Rem fans are already preparing their complaints because Emilia didn't rank higher.

7. Alya — Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian

Alya didn't need twenty years of nostalgia to get people's attention.

Silver hair, Russian flirting and an anime title long enough to qualify as a short novel apparently did the job.

Clearly, the silver-hair strategy still works.

6. Yoruichi Shihōin — Bleach

Some waifus come and go.

Yoruichi apparently didn't get that memo.

She's confident, ridiculously powerful and has been a fan favorite since long before half of today's seasonal waifus existed.

Bleach may have given us plenty of choices, but Yoruichi fans have remained remarkably loyal.

Naruto has been around for decades, yet Sakura is still competing with characters from some of today's biggest shows.

That's quite an achievement when the anime industry produces approximately seventeen new waifus every five minutes.

4. Fern — Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Fern spends a good chunk of Frieren looking mildly annoyed at everyone around her.

She's quiet, cute, powerful — and yes, the boobs probably aren't hurting her popularity either.

Hentai animators certainly seem to appreciate her.

Even better: Fern currently gets more attention on Kitsu X than Frieren herself.

3. Lilia Greyrat — Mushoku Tensei

Lilia Greyrat takes third place.

Mushoku Tensei certainly isn't lacking female characters, but the Greyrat family's maid gets plenty of love on Kitsu X.

Maybe the maid outfit is doing some heavy lifting here.

Anime has spent decades teaching us that maid outfits are dangerous.

Apparently we still haven't learned.

Come on.

You knew Marin Kitagawa was going to be near the top.

She's cute, obsessed with cosplay and comes with an almost unlimited supply of outfits for artists and animators to play with.

Yep. Mina is #1.

Who Else Are People Watching?

The Top 10 isn't the whole story.

Frieren, Makima and Yor Forger have also been getting plenty of attention from Kitsu X users.

The characters people want to see in hentai aren't necessarily the same girls who win regular anime popularity polls. A character from twenty years ago can suddenly take off again, while a new seasonal waifu can become hentai material practically overnight.
